Dry fruits of which especially Kaju (cashew nut) is one of the very famous and largely produced products from the Konkan region. Most of us have seen the cashew nut but have never wondered what the actual fruit looks like. Getting inspired from the form of the cashew fruit we created a serving tray from it.
This tray is handcrafted by the Vishwakarma Sutar community and women in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra.
Mango wood : Mango is better known around the world for its popular fruit. It is considered to be of a moderate quality and has a good speed of growth. It does not require extensive processing, seasoning and drying and its core and visual characteristics are similar to Teak.
